8.30 am Coach
leaves Marriott Gezira car park During this trip we intend to visit the “Fayoum pottery school” which includes the exclusive
collection of pottery made by students of “Ezba Tounes” in Fayoum oasis. The
founder of the school, Evelyne Poiret
should be there to receive us. We would then visit “Rawia
Pottery”, a student of Evelyne Poiret
and the Mohamed Abla international art center. If we have time we will also try to visit the
house of Malak Hashem
built by Adel Fahmy and another house designed by Hassan Fathi. After this we are booked for lunch at a charming
rural restaurant “Zad El Musafir”
which serves organic food and is situated at the foot of the hill overlooking
the lake. We intend to be back at the Marriott car part by
