Transfer on arrival to Imaret built by Mohamed Ali to house a naval academy.

The Imaret has now been converted to a hotel which has been chosen for the third year running as the best boutique hotel in Greece and one of the top ten in Europe.

Dinner at Imaret.

 

Thursday 2 October

Ø      Visit the house of Mohamed Ali in the Morning

Ø      Departure from the house to a fish restaurant.

Ø      Lunch at a fish restaurant

Ø      Afternoon visit to Kavala’s Museum and the Tobacco Museum.

Ø      Dinner at Imaret

 

Friday 3 October

Ø      Flying Dolphin from Kavala’s port to the island of thases departure at 08:00 

Ø      Lunch on the island, in a sea front fish restaurant.

Ø      Flying dolphin from Thassos to Kavala departure at 15:30

Ø      Dinner at Imaret

 

Saturday 4 October

Day trip to Philippi and Nusretli-Drama

Ø      Visit of Nusletli and Drama

Ø      Visit of a winery

Ø      Lunch by the archaeological site of Philippi

Ø      Visit of Philippi archeological site

Ø      Dinner at Imaret

 

Sunday 5 October

Ø      Day trip to Ouranoupolis and Cruise around Mt. Athos

Ø      Dinner at Imaret  

 

Monday 6 October

Transfer to Kavala Airport

Members: 1850 Euros

Non-members: 1950 Euros

 

The price includes all accommodation, food and transportation in Greece.

 

Airline: LE 3200 per person Economy or LE 7200 per person Business class.

 

This is a modular trip where those who are not coming from Cairo or going on elsewhere may make their own airline arrangements.

1 September: Payment of balance.

 

Cancellation: Before 10 August – Full refund

                        From 10 August – 1 September – 50% refund.

                        Refunds will then be made on a replacement basis.

 

Minimum group:        15 people (if that number was not reached by 1 September, the trip would be cancelled and those who had booked would receive a full refund).

 

Maximum group:       25 people. Anyone applying after this number was reached will go on a waiting list in case of cancellations.
